I wasn’t going to write any projection posts on the Air Jordan 1 High Boodline ” meant to fly” but several individuals requested that I did it. As soon as I took a glance at a few retailers’s release calendar, I knew that this model was going to be available in considerable numbers. Footlocker & family haven’t updated their release map yet but we can make some inferences based on previous releases. As I took a quick count of the confirmed retailers for the Bloodline 1’s, I came up with the list below,
Major Retailers: Footlocker, Footaction , Champs available in stores and online JD Sports, Finishline, Hibbett/Citygear
Minor Retailers: KicksUSA, Ruvilla/DTLR, Jimmy Jazz, ShoePalace, Sheikh, ShopNicekicks,Shoecity
So far these are the only confirmed retailers ( minor and major) and you can add to that all the sneaker boutiques as well and get an idea of the amount of pairs that will be available. Since Footlocker’s release map isn’t available yet, I’m going to lean on date from the latest Jordan 1 high that releases- Jordan 1 High OG Fearless. & the Jordan 1 High SBB 3.0 I wrote a post about it, see link below
Air Jordan 1 OG Fearless CK5666-100 | How Many Pairs Made & Market Value
I projected that 48,000 pairs of the Jordan 1 SBB 3.0 were produced and 46,000 pairs of the Fearless 1 were made for North America retailers alone respectively. See picture below
Please understand all the numbers above were purely based on my projections, this isn’t from Nike or any other retailers. One can say that less pairs of the Jordan 1 Bloodline will be produced but I don’t think the linear model above with a negative slope will fit this case. So I’ll make my projection based on the number of retailers allocated and the current resale value.
A good projection will be about 50,000 pairs for North America alone and 100,000 pairs worldwide. I’ll be updating the post as soon as Footlocker’s release locator is updated.
PS: As you all know, I always have to add this disclaimer because every single projection that I make is purely based on assumptions that I have set. It is meant to give you an idea of what to expect, I don’t work any of these brands/retailers I mentioned and have no access to their numbers. I’m only using what is available to create plausible assumptions.
Market/Resale Value
I collected my data via eBay and StockX and combined them both for the sake of accuracy and came up with the results below
As you can see the only size folks are interested in thus far is the size 8.5 ( a total of 60 pairs sold). Basically 93.75% of the pairs sold via third party marketplaces are of size 8.5. The average resale value based on this data is :
I won’t recommend purchasing the Air jordan 1 High bloodline for resale purposes at this average. So if you plan capitalizing on this shoe, I’ll encourage to reconsider your plan.
