Based on data from past records , here is the number of pairs we’ll assign per size
Size 7 (4800pairs), size 7.5 (1500 pairs), size 8 ( 4610 pairs), size 8.5 ( 5120 pairs), size 9 (6700 pairs), size 9.5 (7400 pairs), size 10( 7700 pairs), size 10.5 (7840 pairs), size 11 (6290), size 11.5 (3300), size 12 (5250), size 12.5 (420), size 13 (3305), size 14 ( 480) size 15 (280) , size 16 ( 45), size 17 (50), size 18 (54).
Total= (4800+ 1500+ 3610 +4120+ 5700+6400+6700+6840+5290+2300+4250+320+2305+380+180+35+40+44)pairs= 54,814 pairs let say 55,000 pairs
We assumed at the outset that this represented 25% of the total inventory for North America,
Total for USA= 55,000 x 4= 220, 000 pairs
So we can assume that the total number of pairs produced for the USA will be somewhere between 180,000 pairs and 250,000 pairs
PS: As you all know, I always have to add this disclaimer because every single projection that I make is purely based on assumptions that I have set. It is meant to give you an idea of what to expect, I don’t work any of these brands/retailers I mentioned and have no access to their numbers. I’m only using what is available to create plausible assumptions.

What we have in the chart above is a breakdown of the average sale price since February 13,2022. The resale value is currently between $224 and $225, but let’s find our five number summary for more accurate projections.
Minimum: $180
Quartile Q1: $218
Median: $225
Quartile Q3: $235.75
Maximum: $262
The lowest sale recorded was $180 while the highest was $262. 25% of the sales recorded were within the $180 to $218 interval while the majority of the sales ( 50%) occurred within the $218 to $235.75 interval. And another 25% of the sold for prices between $235.75 and $262. The cumulative resale value is $225 leading to a profit margin of +$23, this isn’t a good sign. The current resale value given the number of pairs projected will likely drop by 5% to 10% so you can expect it to be right around $215. There may be sizes that might be worth shooting for, let’s see the resale by size and draw our conclusions.
Based on the records above, you definitely want to avoid smaller sizes. I mentioned earlier that the current sale prices will decrease and that’s a sure thing. You can expect all the margins above to drop significantly by February 16th, 2022 ( probably by 40%). This isn’t a shoe that I’ll recommend for the short-term investment. It does have potential for the long term and I’ll update the post soon to give you some projections for that. There are much better investment options than the Marina 1’s i.e. the NB 550 Team Royal.
