During my latest footwear excursion, I stumbled upon the Converse All-Star New York Graffiti edition — a shoe that truly embodies the essence of New York-style graffiti. The design instantly captivated me, particularly the bold “New York” in red, featured on the side panels.
The shoe boasts a sturdy canvas upper, complete with two ventilation holes on each side. The color scheme mirrors the American flag with tones of blue, white, and red. Priced at around $70, these Converse sneakers offer its unique style and durability.
However, they aren’t the most cushioned shoes on the market. There’s minimal padding on the footbed, and the vintage toe cap, while stylish, has a rather plastic appearance. Despite these minor flaws, they remain a classic, reminiscent of the days when basketball was played in Converse.
