The Warriors might have lost to the Raptors in this year’s playoffs but Curry was still relentless even after his lethal comrades went down with devastating injuries. The UA Curry 6 Roaracle Stephen’s tribute to the Oracle, the only NBA home he’s ever known and one of the loudest arenas in the game. The key features of the sneakers are as follows: Product DNA Fully knit upper for a breathable, compression-like fit that delivers lightweight directional strength Full-length UA HOVR™ cushioning for explosive return & a zero gravity feel External heel counter for added stability & support Full-length speed plate keeps you on your toesRead More →

The Warriors really proved that they didn’t need Kevin Durant to win games, and they showed it in spectacular fashion by obliterating the Portland Blazers. Game 1 of the 2019 NBA Finals begins tomorrow and I’m surprised Under Armour hasn’t done any campaigns for the Curry 6 “Oakland”. I went on the brand’s website and I couldn’t fetch any information on the shoe, I accidentally came across the shoe by checking Footlocker’s release calendar this morning. The Curry 6 silhouette has revived Steph Curry’s line to some extent and UA continues to miss golden opportunities to capitalize on the model. I don’t even know theRead More →

I was watching a game of basketball via NBA League Pass about a week ago and during one of the  commercial breaks, an ad featuring the new Under Armour Curry 6 popped up; it was a little more than half a minute long. I was a bit disappointed with the ad at first because it was not very engaging – all it showed was Steph moving with and without the ball, taking a couple of triples, then came images of the elements  that made up the sneaker in between Curry’s moves, with short phrases about the shoes technical features. The ad wasn’t any different fromRead More →

Steph Curry proved how valuable he is again for the Warriors this week. The team has lost two games in a row since he was sidelined  with a groin injury. UA could be the one giving us updates on Curry’s injury but I went on the brand’s twitter account and there is no update about Curry’s return to the court. Another thing caught my attention, see screenshot below This is a retweet from UA Hoops, they ought to be the one to be tweeting about it in the first place. This is an issue that UA continues to ignore- engagement. It would be great toRead More →

Under Armour continues to neglect the most lethal sharp shooter in the league, Steph Curry that is. I bet you no one is really aware of the fact that Shoe Palace and UA did a project together. I will be the first one to say that I had no idea that this Curry 1 & 4 25th Anniversary Pack had dropped. I found out about it accidentally on Saturday when I was looking at ShoePalace release calendar for information on the Jordan 6 Tinker. UA ought to be embarrassed for not creating any campaign about this pack; I even went on the brand’s youtube channelRead More →

Under Armour lack of enthusiasm towards Curry’s signature shoes continues to show with every new colorway that is introduced. Had I not checked out this morning, I wouldn’t have known anything about warrior guard Steph’s upcoming Asia tour. I purposely checked Under Armour site, youtube channel and IG’s account to see if any information was posted about the tour and I found absolutely nothing about it. It seems like Curry is more hyped overseas than he is in North America; there is only one video ad on UA’s youtube channel on the Curry 5 and that says a lot about how little interest isRead More →

The UA Curry 5 gold edition is releasing today in two separate colorways, the white/gold and the black/gold. Under Armour is making a subtle bold statement with these two sneakers, they are basically delivering the 2018 NBA title to Chef Curry and his squad and rightfully so. The Warriors are the favorite going into this year’s final because they are loaded with four perennial All Stars that make up their famous “Death Line up”. I wrote about the negative impact of the Super Team concept a week ago , see link below The NBA Super Teams Are A Reason Why Basketball Sneakers Are Dead TheRead More →

Stephen Curry went down with a Grade 2 MCL sprain courtesy of Javale Macgee a few games before the  end of the regular season; the Warriors finished second in the Western Conference but wrapped up their season on a mediocre note. It led a lot of sports’s analysts to question their chances of another title in the playoffs. They proved yesterday that they were serious contenders  by crushing the San Antonio Spurs  at the Oracle Arena. You can watch a breakdown of the game via Coach Nick I found out from that Curry will probably return for the Western Conference semis ( talking about being veryRead More →

The Under UA Curry 4 Low NBA Jam is officially dropping tomorrow; the shoes were inspired by the classic 1993 NBA Jam video game. If you’ve been following sneaker brands at all, you know that most of them have been about reviving the 90’s and UA isn’t going to be the exception. The color scheme of the shoes is consistent with the video game colors and the icing on the cake in my opinion is the iconic fire ball on the outsole reminiscent of the ” He’s on Fireeee”. Those who used to play this game will get it, as a matter of fact check thisRead More →
