I get it, the new kink now is to bring back classic sneakers with upgraded materials, but there is only so much you can do with one shoe that you completely ruin it. This new Adidas stan smith kvadrat like I said was a pure exercise of Stupidity. Brands need to be held accountable for gushing out such atrocities at time. Kvadrat is supposedly Europe’s leading manufacturer of design textiles which I don’t doubt, but did Adidas really have to create another frankenstein Stan Smith in partenrship with them. The shoes are very dull, unappealing, and chances are they’ll sit and rot on shelves. I don’tRead More →

I can’t say enough positive things about the NB 247; I’m just amazed that people are still spending top dollars for NMD’s, Flyknit racers and the likes when the 247 is by far one of the most comfortable lifestyle/casual sneakers I’ve come across. For those who want to know a bit more about the engineering behind the NB 247, check the following article Behind The Scene: How Was The New Balance NB 247 Made?. Titolo and New Balance have joined forces to create the ultimate summer shoe- the NB 247 Deep Into The Blue. The shoes were inspired by the beautiful days at the beach and everythingRead More →

The Air Max 97 were originally introduced in 1997 and were engineered to mimic Japanese Speed Trains. The very first colorway that dropped was silver with red highlights and was brought back  in the month of April. The gold edition followed right after, and for a third installment Nike is giving us a summer edition: the Nike Air Max 97 Summit White. The shoes feature  a mixture of premium snakeskin leather and textured canvas on the uppers. The multi layer sneaker will come in  a summit white on white color combination with 3M reflective details on the side panels. The lateral and medial panels sport a mid sectionRead More →

The Air Jordan 5 Red Suede was definitely inspired by the Air Jordan 5 “toro”. I had the chance to see them earlier today in my local mall and decided to give you guys a quick and closer look at them They  feature an all red premium suede upper with black highlights on the forefoot shark teeth and the inner liner. Red will also cover the panels’s netting, the extension of the tongue, the midsole. A 3M reflective material will adorn the outside of the tongue; completing the shoes is a translucent outsole. I’ve been very critical of JB lately but these Air Jordan 5 RetroRead More →

I had never heard of David Chang till pictures of the Nike SB Dunk High Pro Momofuku emerged a couple of weeks ago. David Chang is the founder and head chef of Momofuku, a restaurant that finds pride in serving and I quote:  a roster of dishes that change with the seasons. Momofuku has a bar, noodle bar, main dining room, and private dining room. Not only does he love food but David Chang has a love affair with Nike sneakers, especially the Nike SB’s because of his long-term relationship with the skating community. The color combination on the shoes was inspired by the apron Chang’sRead More →

I came across the newest colorway of the Deion Sanders’s signature shoes, the Nike Air Diamond Turf Red White. They haven’t been released before; they come in a vibrant red on white color combination. The  shoes feature a leather and synthetic upper with a velcro fastener across the forefoot for support. The bottom layer of the strap featured nubuck materials on the previous editions; but with the 2017 model Nike replaced it with some type of composite leather material. Completing the shoes are a phylon midsole with encapsulated air unit for shock absorption and a rubber outsole for superior traction. PRODUCT DETAILS Nike Air Diamond Turf RedRead More →

The first images of the Triple Black Air Jordan 1 Retro High emerged in early May. The shoes come in all black tumbled leather upper with university red details on the tongue and sockliner. The customary swoosh logo will come in black as well on the side panels; the wings logo can be spotted on the lateral quarter panel. The hot summer days can be excruciating and the feet tend to burn up, sweat and odors begin to build up; for that reason, ventilation is an important aspect of any shoes and the perforated toe box is intended to enhance the cooling system to keep the feetRead More →

The Air Jordan 5 DMP raging bull pack is another all time classic that dropped in 2009; the pack was inspired by the “running of the bulls”, an event that is celebrated yearly in the city of Pampona, Spain. Out of the pack, most will agree that the jordan 5 red suede was their favorite. The upcoming Air Jordan 5 Retro University Red was supposedly inspired by the Air Jordan 5 “toro”. The shoes feature an all red premium suede upper with black highlights on the forefoot shark teeth and the inner liner. Red will also cover the panels’s netting, the extension of the tongue, theRead More →
