Kobe’s Passing, The Footwork, A Reminder Of Eternity

I don’t even know Kobe on a personal level ( I’m not telling you something you don’t already know ) but I slept horribly last night. Somehow I thought Kobe was invincible, that tragedies  like this kind couldn’t happen to Kobe, the black mamba. On Saturday I was at a friend’s funeral and in the past month and a half I have already had to deal with  two  close friends’ deaths. As close as those friends were to me, kobe’s passing seemed to have had a grander instant toll on me and I can’t explain why. Maybe it’s because it was unexpected, maybe it’s becauseRead More →

why is luka doncic so efficient offensively

Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks is in his NBA sophomore year and is not showing signs of slowing down from where he left off in his rookie season. He has already recorded three triple doubles in seven games and pairing with Porzingis has proven to be a match made in heaven. In Today’s show, Coach Nick is giving us a thorough breakdown of how Coach Rick Carlisle is using Doncic in the Mavericks’s offense. Will The Rockets Improve If James Harden Makes This Simple Change

The Rockets fell short again this season as they couldn’t stop the Warriors for the second consecutive time in the Western Conference Finals. Houston’s post season was marked with a roster change that sent Chris Paul and a few draft picks to Oklahoma for Russell Westbrook. The acquisition of Westbrook made me scratch my head because he’s also a ball dominant guard, but Harden and the Rockets’s GMs must know something we don’t. In today’s BBallbreakdown, coach Nick contemplates the idea of adding more post ups to James Harden’s arsenal in order to make the Rockets more effective, be sure to watch the video inRead More →

Are The Utah Jazz Real Title Contenders | Courtesy Of FreeDawkins

This upcoming NBA season is going to be one for the ages. Kawhi’s move to the clippers has engendered a lot of equilibrium; frankly I don’t know what team in the Western Conference is going to be the first seed. Most people will put the Lakers, Clippers, Rockets, Warriors and Nuggets ahead of everyone but I think Utah is being severely underestimated. I was searching for some solid NBA content on YouTube and stumbled upon the video below and was completely delighted with the in depth analysis the presenter gave about the new look Utah Jazz. The team made some key acquisitions this off seasonRead More →

What Kawhi And Paul George Bring To The Clippers Coach Nick

Kawhi Leonard’s decision to join the Clippers organization has literally shifted the landscape of the NBA for the upcoming season. Most basketball fans have developed an apathy towards the NBA with the advent of the Super Team concept and rightfully so. There was a lack of real competition and the average fan could pretty much figure out what team was going to be leading each conference. I think the upcoming season will be loaded with surprises since several teams appear to well balanced. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are both two-way players; great perimeter defenders with length and athleticism who can also put the ballRead More →

We all heard a week ago about the trade that sent Anthony Davis To the Lakers for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first-round picks – including the No. 4 overall in 2019 Draft. I haven’t been able to pay a close eye to the NBA playoffs primarily because of the load of work that I currently have. But from the looks of it, there has been some surprises in this first round but the UTAH vs HOUSTON series is unfolding as we’ll expect it. The Jazz coaching staff has been borrowing a  James Harden- stopping strategy from the Milwaukee Bucks that has proven to be disastrous for UTAH. In the analysis below, Coach Daniel shows us in details what UTAH is doing that is completely destroying their own game plan. Be sure to subscribe to CD channel onRead More →

I only caught the 4th quarter of Game 1 between the Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia Sixers but when I saw the score on my screen, I was a it shocked. The Nets were up by double digits going into the 4th and when it started, some serious flaws in the Sixers system became apparent to me; they appeared very sluggish and chemistry-less which resulted into careless turnovers. But the most devastating thing I witnessed was the Nets ‘s strategic decision to sag off Ben Simmons throughout the entire quarter. He didn’t know what else to do with the ball and Philly’s offense became veryRead More →

I was watching the Bulls Vs Hawks game last night and what I witnessed from the rookie guard Trae Young was beyond amazing. He is slowly quieting the critics now that he is getting more comfortable with the pace of the NBA and it is beauty to watch.
