The chart above gives us a breakdown of the average sale price of the shoe since March 29, 2022. The resale value decreased very rapidly between March 29 and April 7 by almost 43%. Since then, it has been decreasing still but at a lower rate ( 21.51%). It is currently $496 and you can expect it to drop by another 10% by the April 15. Let’s see what the five number summary reveals

The lowest recorded sale was $440 ( for a size 8) while the highest was $1405 ( for 2 size 11 on April 6). The size 11 has been now selling for $600 since the 12th of April. 25% of the shoes sold for prices from $440 to $524.5 while 50% sold for prices from $525 to $652, with another 25% selling for prices from $652 to $1405. There were several irregular values ( outliers)
Set of outliers: {846, 847, 849, 960, 1037, 1405, 1405}, they correspond to 3 sizes 11, 2 sizes 9.5 and another two size 11’s respectively. It’s important to note that all these occurred before April 12th, 2022. The overall average sale price of the shoe without the outliers is $594 but you can expect it to drop by 20% to 25% by April 15. So I won’t be surprised if the resale value is between $446 and $476, leading to profit margins from +$166 to +$193. Don’t expect any major changes in the current resale value for a year and some change. In other words, if you are looking to invest in this for the long term, you’ll have to wait at least two years to see some major change.

Resale Value
When it comes to the Grey Fog resale value, the story is going to be the same. I’m going to give you a breakdown of the current earnings per size sold.
These are the current earnings , you can expect them to drop by 20% to 30% when the shoe officially releases. And just like the Rattan edition, there won’t be any major change in the projected profits for the next couple of years. So my recommendation for both models would be to target larger sizes, and sell them right away. There’s no need to hold onto them.
