The first collaboration between Vans and UNDEFEATED was in 2007, so it’s been almost 15 years since these two brands joined forces. To celebrate this special occasion, they’re bringing back the all-over U-Man print used on their very first collaboration for three different OG Old Skool LX colorways — “Bistro Green,” “Blue Iolite” and “Buckthorn Brown.” The shoes feature UNDEFEATED branding on the side panel and heel tab with embroidery details. What was the inspiration behind the collection?

Around the time UNDEFEATED initially opened their doors on La Brea in 2002, internationally known artist Geoff McFetridge created the U-Man. He designed it as a gift for his friends and UNDEFEATED co-founders Eddie Cruz and James Bond, drawing inspiration from their playful personalities and UNDEFEATED’s unique sports connection. And the rest is history.
