The Air Jordan 6 pinnacle promo jacket, quite an odd name for a shoe. Jordan Brand keeps digging into Michael Jordan’s archives for irrelevant backstories to pin on their sneakers. The pinnacle promo 6 was supposedly inspired by MJ’s 1991 appearance on Saturday Night Live. He was wearing a quilted olive bomber jacket and if you look closely at the pinnacle 6’s, they feature a water repellent nylon built olive/green quilted upper, referencing MJ’s jacket. Black highlights can also be spotted all throughout the shoes ( midsole, back tab and lacelock). Additional features include:
- special package adorned with graphics referencing Mj’s iconic moments
- The pull tab remains the same and the midsole cushioning provides comfort with polyurethane, a Vis-Air® unit in the heel and an Air® unit in the forefoot.
- The sole is comprised of solid and translucent rubber with a unique traction pattern for performance and style
