I thought today was the second coming of My Lord and savior Jesus Christ when I visited DTLR’s website to gather information on a specific pair of sneakers – the Nike Air Foamposite One QS Dream A World. To my astonishment, the website had undergone some remarkable upgrades, something I had never anticipated.
DTLR’s system had always seemed archaic, so much that it never crossed my mind they would ever revamp it. But, much to my surprise and delight, they’ve introduced a new feature that allows online shoppers to locate stock in their respective regions by simply inputting their zip code, see image below

This update left me utterly astounded. Coming from DTLR, this is a monumental improvement, deserving of applause. For years, I had to physically drive to various locations, pleading with managers (who often viewed me as an inconvenience) just to check the inventory for certain sneakers.
With this innovative system, customers can effortlessly search for an item, confirm its availability, and then proceed to pick it up. It would be an added bonus if DTLR could offer an option for online shoppers to make a purchase if the item is sold out online but available in-store. But with this company, one never knows. I can only hope they won’t wait until eternity to implement this.
