In the month of November alone , Nike has released a total of 60 sneakers ( this number is based on the solelinks release calendar which usually features only marquee sneakers) and 30 % of those releases were Jordan retros. If November was this loaded I’m assuming that December will be twice as full, we are talking Christmas and everything the season brings with it. I’m going to go off topic a bit here, I once had a conversation with an individual who thought that I ought to separate my relationship with the Eternal God with my vocation. What he failed to understand was that the Eternal God that I was referring to isn’t subject to relativity- HE exists eternally and objectively whether “You and I” believe it or not. And since that is the case, Christ rules everything around me, and whether I or drink, whatever do , is done for the glory of God. For more on the reality of the existence of the Eternal God, see post below
I’m saying all this to say that If Nike and its design team really understood the reason for the Christmas season, the gospel would’ve inspired the design of many of their sneakers for the month of December.
Coming out on December the 2nd is a new colorway of the retro 14, the air Jordan 14 black Ferrari with an exorbitant $200 retail tag. I’m not sure what inspired the colorway, Nike has yet to say anything about it.
The shoe is dressed in all black with red detailing on midsole cooling unit, additional details that can be spotted on the picture above are the perforations on the lateral panel and the quilted patterns on the medial side of shoe. As soon as Nike releases more details about it, I’l be sure to update the post
