Shoes more than often will look a lot better in certain colorways than others. Such is the case with the UA Curry 3 Copper 3M; I have written a whole lot about the Curry 3 than any other signature shoes since last month. The shoes are definitely growing on me with the new undertones that I have come across.
The shoes are dressed in a black based upper with copper detailing all throughout- Under Armour branding comes in copper on the outside of the tongue. The Steph Curry “SC” mini logo also comes in copper on the lateral side adjacent to the toe box. The midsole is also two toned ( copper color near the forefoot and black from the heel to the mid foot). The eyelets are also covered in copper and will house round black laces with copper speckles.
Another interesting feature on the shoes is the 3M reflective element on the side panels- it literally brings the shoe to life. You can also spot tiny little copper speckles on the toe box, I really like these shoes. I hope people realize how good of a shoe the Curry 3 is, from its look to its functionality. Built with the thread borne technology( intended to facilitate directional changes), they are about 14.5 oz. The signature anafoam material covers part of the heel and the medial side, and offers the foot much more stability and a cushioned fit on the sides. I tried bending both Curry 2’s & 3’s and the 3 seemed to be more sturdy. You can watch my entire breakdown of the Curry 3 in the video below.
I don’t know when the UA Curry 3 Copper 3M will officially release, so stay tuned for further updates, and enjoy the pictures below.
