Reebok continues to find ways to bring the Allen Iverson Question Mid back in new and exciting ways. This time around, they’re tapping into the 1980s and reviving one of the best dunkers in NBA history – Dr J. Allen Iverson wore the number 6 for the 2002 NBA All-Star Game to honor Julius Erving, who played for the Philadelphia 76ers. Reebok will release a special edition “Dr J” colorway of the Question Mid to commemorate its 20th anniversary.
This Reebok Question Mid DR J features a white leather base with red and gold accents to match the jersey Iverson wore during the ALL Star game. The number 3 on the heels has been swapped with DJ’s number 6, and the insoles contain an image of Allen Iverson reminiscent of the controversial SLAM Magazine cover from 1999. With this latest release, Reebok is sure to please both loyal fans of AI and those who just appreciate a good throwback.
