Paul George’s Indiana Pacers are definitely going to make the playoffs , but I predict an early first round exit. As good as the team is defensively, their half court offense tends to be stagnant, and their head coach is not a fan of a fast pace style of basketball. The PG1 debuted officially on march 4, and as much a I like the aesthetic aspect of the shoes, they are darn near impossible to wear. Georges must have a narrow foot because I couldn’t get them past my forefoot, and decided not to buy the shoes. The Nike PG1 Ivory 878627 110 is the next colorway to drop in the model and will release on April 6.
The shoes come in a ivory, oatmeal and gum color combination; a swoosh logo will grace the side panels in hairy suede and Paul George’s own logo will be featured on the outside of the tongue. The shoes feature a combination of mesh and python leather ( on the quarter panels). They also sport a forefoot strap supported by flywire cables and are equipped with Air units at the forefoot for a low profile yet responsive cushioning. PG is a versatile SF with tremendous offensive skills ( he has a mid range, he can shoot the triple, can put the ball on the floor, can pass, he is a dunker and an above average on ball defender), so the shoes were engineered with his on court abilities in mind.
