I’m sure no one really cares at this point when it comes to Jordan Retros; the brand keeps beating up the same models over and over, wrapping them in different colors, and giving them silly nicknames. I Was just taking a stroll in the mall this morning and I found the Low top 11 Barons sitting in massive numbers in my local FTL. This ought to be good news for those of us patient enough to wait till the shoes hit the sales rack. Anyway, coming out on Saturday June 3rd is the Air Jordan 7 VII Pure Platinum just in time for the Summer.
The shoes come in a white premium leather upper with platinum suede underlays, covered in perforations for ventilation purposes. Jordan branding will come in metallic silver on the tongue, the quarter panel and the back. Additional JB logos can be spotted on the back, the classic “#23”, and the outsole ( Jumpman). I used the Bordeaux 7’s
between 2011 and 2013 for basketball and they were very durable; they are easy to put on ( there is a slip on tab on the back), they are secure and air conducive. They are equipped with air units at the heel and forefoot for cushioning and the traction is amazing on them. I definitely recommend them for the game, but I think this particular colorway will end up on customizers hands; so look to see a lot of Air Jordan 7 Customs in the months to come.
