I was talking about how the month of January had some pretty weak releases in terms of Jordan retros, but there are certainly some gems that are flying under the radar. Surprisingly, this is considering that Jordan Brand is usually pretty good at being a marketing genius. One of these gems is the Women’s Air Jordan 1 Method of Make in Sports Red Dune, Red Black, and Sail.
I accidentally stumbled upon the shoe while browsing Nike’s website, and I was immediately drawn to its construction and colorway. Speaking of the colorway, the shoe looks like a hybrid of the Bred 1 and the Chicago 1, and this was purposely done by Nike to evoke the essence of those two iconic shoes. Next, the materials definitely caught my attention. The shoe features premium tumbled leather overlays from the forefoot to the midsection, and the usual soft leather material from the at the heel. Also pay attention to the heavy duty denim details on the mid section underlays, tongue and its extension. Additionally, there is a thick swoosh logo on both the lateral and medial sides, built with premium tumbled leather as well. The shoe just oozes quality, and I can’t believe Jordan Brand did absolutely no campaign to introduce it. Well, that’s good news for those who actually want it – a silent release that you can easily pick up.
Take a look at it and let me know your thoughts on it. If you’re looking to pick up a pair, refer to the details below
