Every now and then, Jordan Brand releases a shoe that reminds us of the essence of sneaker collecting. A shoe that harkens back to a time when we didn’t have to worry about resale value or whether our shoes would sell out in seconds. A shoe that is unapologetically vintage and screams classic. The Air Jordan 1 High OG White Cement is just such a shoe. It pays homage to White Cement Jordan 3, and it does so in a way that is subtle.
Its color scheme is Tech Grey, Muslin, Black, and White. The White leather Air Jordan 1 features elephant print overlays, Black Swooshes, ankle collar, laces, Wings logo, and tongue labels. The design is completed by a White midsole atop a Grey rubber outsole.
This shoe is the perfect example of why we fell in love with sneakers in the first place. It’s a beautiful throwback to a time when things were simpler and sneakers were just about having fun. It screams vintage and will certainly be considered a classic in years to come. So if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on a pair, cherish them. Because they just don’t make ’em like they used to.
