Nike continues to focus on some of its key silhouettes, including the iconic Jordan 1’s, 3’s, 4’s, and 5’s. The latest release, the Air Jordan 5 SE Craft Light Orewood Brown, is a testament to the brand’s dedication to these timeless designs. While there may not be a specific inspiration behind this new colorway, the shoe’s unique look speaks for itself.
The Jordan 5 SE Craft features a striking combination of Light Orewood Brown, Safety Orange, Slate Pewter, and Sail colors. Constructed with a mix of premium suede materials, the shoe is highlighted by vibrant Orange contrasting accents on the tongues. A White midsole with speckled shark teeth overlays adds an eye-catching touch, while an icy translucent outsole completes the design. For purchase purposes, refer to the details below

The chart above gives us a summary of the average sale price of the shoe since May 13 on third party marketplaces. As you can see, prices went from $243 on May 13 to $242 on the 14th. It then went down by $21 the very next day and is currently $221. We need to compute the five number summary for further details.
Minimum: 165
Quartile Q1: 224
Median: 233.5
Quartile Q3: 248
Maximum: 312
The lowest sale recorded $165 for a size 9 while the highest sale was $312 for a size 15 ( that shouldn’t be a surprise, it’s a pretty rare size). 25% of the shoes sold between $165 and $224 ( you can check the next chart for sizes). 50% of them sold between $224 and $248 and the top 25% were from $248 to $312. There were four outliers, {$165, $170, $295, $312} corresponding to sizes 9, 8,11.5 and 15. With these outliers removed, the overall average resale value is $235 with a 7% volatility ( which is below average).
At $235, you’re looking at a $21 loss if you were planning on reselling this shoe. Let’s see if there are any sizes worth targeting for resale purposes.
67% of the sales generated some significant losses, that is sizes 8-10, 11,12-13. 25% led to earnings under $10 ( sizes 10.5,11.5, and 14) and size 15 generated the most significant return with $61 in profit. But this is a pretty rare size and only one single sale was recorded for it. So what can we conclude about the Jordan 5 SE Craft, should you attempt to resell it?
As you can see more than half of the sizes sold led to significant losses, I wouldn’t recommend reselling the shoe at all. I can guarantee you that it is readily available at the Nike employee store ( where it is being sold for up to 50% below the suggested MSRP). That’s the only way third party sellers can sell the shoe for right around retail and still make a profit. So unless you have access to the employee store, I wouldn’t recommend investing in this colorway, you’ll be losing a lot of money.
This is however another win for buyers, who will probably be able to buy the shoe for right around retail or even less depending on the size.
