JB is continuing its army inspired Sneaker collection with the introduction the Air Jordan 5 V Retro Take Flight. They were supposedly inspired by the P51 bomber jacket and come in an army green based upper with beige highlights on the outside of the tongue.
The shoes feature a premium leather construction that covers the midsole as well. The customary netting on the midfoot side panels has been replaced by perforations for ventilation purposes. The tongue and its extension are also leather built and will feature am embossed Jumpman. You will also see more perforations on the extension for the same ventilation purposes ( it makes sense because with this much leather you’ll definitely need adequate air flow to keep your foot cool and dry). The 5’s in general are equipped with a phylon midsole with built in visible air units at the heel and invisible zoom units at the forefoot.
