The Air Jordan 5 DMP raging bull pack is another all time classic that dropped in 2009; the pack was inspired by the “running of the bulls”, an event that is celebrated yearly in the city of Pampona, Spain. Out of the pack, most will agree that the jordan 5 red suede was their favorite. The upcoming Air Jordan 5 Retro University Red was supposedly inspired by the Air Jordan 5 “toro”.
The shoes feature an all red premium suede upper with black highlights on the forefoot shark teeth and the inner liner. Red will also cover the panels’s netting, the extension of the tongue, the midsole. A 3M reflective material will adorn the outside of the tongue; completing the shoes is a translucent outsole.
I’ve been very critical of JB lately but these Air Jordan 5 Retro University Red Suede are a must have. Is the $190 price tag justified on these? Well let’s reason a little bit. When the DMP5 came out in 2009, it was priced at $310 basically $155 for each shoe in the pack. Based on the CPI inflation calculator, the shoes should have been priced at $180, so you’re basically paying an extra $10, which isn’t too bad after all.
