I had a chance to see the Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday in person on Sunday October 9; they are going to debut on Saturday October 15. They were originally scheduled to release on cyber Monday but JB move the date to an earlier one. I think the brand realized that as great and nice as these Cyber Monday 3’s are, a more hyped shoe should be released instead; so the decision was made to drop the Nike Air Foamposite One Dr Doom
, dressed in the same black and white color scheme.
I initially thought that the shoes were built with premium tumbled leather, but upon closer inspection, it felt more like a cheaper,subtle tumbled leather. It is interesting because on the pictures it looks like tumbled leather but when you actually see the shoes, it looks nothing like what the picture shows; it feels and looks more like soft leather. I know i’m being a little too repetitive but I wasn’t very thrilled with the shoes when i saw them. Watch the video below for the full breakdown
I have no problem with a company using cheaper materials to manufacture a product, but the price of the product ought to reflect its quality. I think charging $190 for these Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday is a little too much; some people may say :” Why do you complain so much?”. I’m not complaining , this is just an observation; two weeks ago i picked up a pair of Vans Odd Future which cost only $74.95 , yet included a custom made box, were built with premium materials and also came with a special gift.
