The Jordan 10’s might not have a striking aesthetic but were probably among the best performance shoes released by Jordan Brand. One of the lightest shoes of the 90’s, they blend in unique cushioning, stability, comfort and fit. The original colorway, the Air Jordan 10 Steel came wrapped in a full grain leather upper with a dynamic-fit sleeve around the ankle, gore-reinforced eyestays. a PU sockliner and a phylon midsole with invisible air units for maximum cushioning.
JB introduced cities’ inspired editions of the 10’s last year; and most of the styles were met with a lukewarm response- they did horrible. I know I’ve been mentioning the “Edit and Amplify” in a lot of my posts and rightfully so- the brand has been digging into its archives and resurrecting some of its most favorable retros. We all know that the 11’s are always going to sell out, that’s a fact. But bringing back the Air Jordan 10 steel is a good idea; the steel 10’s were brought back in 2013 and did not disappoint, hence bringing them back again next year parallels the “edit and amplify”.I am definitely confident that 2018 will bring some life back to Jordan retros if the brand doesn’t deviate from its current trajectory.
