For many sneakerheads, the Nike Air Force 1 holds a special place in their hearts. Not only is it a classic design, but it also has a rich history that is deeply rooted in hip-hop culture. In recent years, Nike has been working hard to keep the Air Force 1 relevant by releasing new colorways with relatable backstories. This time around, the diaspora from Ghana is being treated to the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Little Accra”.

The shoe is constructed with premium materials and features ornate tapestry throughout. Nike also stamped “Little Accra” onto the heels and added special messages of “Sharing Stories” and “Building Community” on the insoles. Last but not least, Nike added “Anniversary” branded tongue tags with golden lace dubraes to complete the design. For many people of Ghanaian descent, this shoe will be a source of pride and nostalgia. It is a reminder of where they come from and how far they have come. It is also a powerful symbol of unity and community. Nike has once again shown us that they are not just a sneaker company, but a cultural force to be reckoned with.

Air Force 1 Low Little Accra: Resale Value

The chart above gives us a breakdown of the current earnings/losses per size sold of the shoe. As you can see,45% of the sales resulted in losses ( sizes 8.5,10-10.5, 11.5 and 13). 27% led to earnings under $25 ( sizes 9, 11 and 12), while the remaining 28% resulted in profits between $30 and $80 ( sizes 7.5, 8 and 9.5). For sizes 7.5 and 8, the sales count was only one ( small sample size), so I wouldn’t consider the numbers of those very reliable. So what can we conclude?
While some pairs seems to be leading to significant profits, it is clearly evident that this isn’t a shoe that is good to resell. The average resale value is about $171, resulting in a profit margin of $7, a 5% mark up ( 3 times below average). So I wouldn’t recommend reselling it. The shoe hasn’t even officially released yet, so you can expect the current prices to tank even more. This is another win for buyers and collectors, you’ll be able to snatch a pair for right around retail.
