Technology has sort of made people in general so lazy that no one really goes sneaker hunting anymore. Everything is at the tip of our fingers-all we have to do is get on the internet, maybe check one or two sneaker blogs, then use google to find anything we want. I would love to take it back to the way it used be- physically take my “lazy tail” to different sneaker shops and actually hunt for shoes. Well, today while doing my routine window shopping, I stumbled upon the Nike Air Force 1 One Reflective Desert Camo. I think they were officially scheduled to release on November 19, but footlocker already had the shoes out on shelves. I have developed a loftiness for the AF1 in past 7 years but the Desert Camo edition is an exception- I fell in love with them immediately.
The shoes feature a desert like camouflage upper with khaki and brown accents. The neoprene inner liner is also covered in khaki; you will also spot a khaki Nike Swoosh on both lateral and medial sides. Parts of the panels and the entire toe box are covered with perforations to keep the feet cool and dry. A Nike Air logo also occupies the outside of the tongue and the back ; a khaki rubber outsole completes the look of the shoes.
