The Adidas Consortium x Packer NMD Runner PK BB5051 literally takes you back to the mid 80’s and 90’s era- if you grew up watching TV shows like ” In Living Color”, if you were deeply immersed in the culture surrounding the iconic USA Dream Team of the Barcelona 92 Olympics, then these shoes are for you.
Packer has been around for a while so the shoes were designed to pay homage to their legacy and tremendous knowledge in the sneaker culture. The Adidas Consortium x Packer NMD Runner PK BB5051 is dressed in a myriad of colors including blue ,teal,red and white; it features a flexible primeknit upper along with a ridged neck for a comfortable and sock- like fit. The midsole is equipped with the signature boost technology, and will be complemented with the continental outsole for traction purposes.
I’m definitely digging these NMD’s; call me grumpy old man but I grew up in an era where you appreciated the few sneakers you had and took care of them. These days, it’s all about how many sneakers you have, who follows you, and this has led to the birth of “clowns” and “cocky guys”. I’ll leave this topic for another day.
