You never know what you’re going to run into when you do a good old fashioned sneaker scouting, in the early days that’s what the hunt a fun activity. But now it has become the norm in the sense that every non limited release is collection good old dust on retailers’ shelves. In my latest run at the mall i spotted the Yellow Adidas NMD R1 V2 all over print below retail. I would’ve snatched a pair but I put the pause button to avoid an impulsive purchase mainly because it would be hard to wear such a flamboyant shoe, i would’ve pulled the trigger on it if it was all black.
The shoe comes built in a primeknit upper with adidas references covering it its entirety in different languages expressing the brand’s core values. With the Version 2 of the NMD, what you have is more comfort in the form of additional EVA components at the heel and the midsole as well was on the quarter panels for more stability, here’s a video of the shoe.
