Damian Lillard has already been named Western Conference player of the week this season. He has been carrying his team and his demeanor and leadership abilities on the floor are second to none. I’m glad he’s finally making his first All Star appearance this year. He is the ultimate NBA underdog. I think playing in the western conference might be the reason he has been overlooked. The point guard position is one of the toughest in the league at the moment given the elite guards there are i.e. Curry, reigning MVP Westbrook. Nonetheless D. Lillard has proven on countless nights that he belongs in the same lane as those two.

Nike’s line up for February is pretty good and I was stunned that Adidas did little to counter Nike’s onslaught. I still think they should’ve hit Nike where they are weak at this moment ( lifestyle) but Adidas chose the basketball route. Not the best move but solid enough because of the partnership with Bape.
