Jordan Brand is the originator of the Gatorade collection but I’m more impressed by the custom Gatorade NMD R1 by Canvasco. His take on the Gatorade inspired Adidas NMD R1 was well executed and the color distribution on the shoes reveals the genius of the artist. Both Gatorade logos are emboldened on the toe box; the color appropriation from the toe box to the pull tab and the inserts is striking and embodies the Gatorade tone quite well. I was contrasting these to both Jordan X Gatorade models and I was more dazzled with the customs than I was with the Retros; someone in Nike design team has to do a little bit better.
