As if disrupting the regular running shoe market is not enough , Adidas is also eyeing the outdoor/ rough terrains sector. The brand has joined forces together with Japanese label White Mountaineering to deliver the NMD trail shoes.
The Adidas White Mountaineering NMD Trail is an upgraded version of the original NMD ( engineered by basically adding traditional trail shoes characteristics to the NMD). They feature a premium primeknit upper for a custom and ultralight fit. Reflective adidas and White Mountaineering logos will occupy the outside of the tongue; additional co-branding will be featured on the heel tab. The customary boost technology will remain on the midsole ( with two EVA plugs alongside it for additional cushioning).The main difference between the NMD trail and the regular NMD is the outsole- it has a rugged bottom specifically designed for the outdoor terrains and surfaces.
