Today, I bring to your attention the Black Better Scarlet Adidas Top Ten High , which is beautifully accented with more red. This model holds a special place in my heart as one of my all-time favorites. Interestingly, these shoes were released before the popular Jordan 1 High, yet they seem to have been unjustly overlooked.
This particular colorway caught my eye with its striking blend of black and red, further enhanced by an additional layer of red. The shoe’s construction is a remarkable combination of tumbled leather, soft leather, and patent leather overlays. Let’s delve into its details.
It features perforations on the toe box for breathability. It also boasts a mesh material extension, and the inner liner is padded with a soft foam component for added comfort. From top to bottom, this shoe exudes quality craftsmanship.
Priced around $100, you might be lucky to find them on sale at stores like Champs or similar outlets for around $70.
At the back, you’ll notice the tumbled leather that extends from the tip of the toe through the midsection. The iconic three-stripe Adidas logos are neatly tucked between additional perforations for ventilation. The heel counter showcases more tumbled leather, while the sides flaunt a patent leather finish.
The other side mirrors these features, maintaining consistency in design. The toe area is crafted with soft leather, again with perforations for breathability. The tongue’s extension on the outside sports more Adidas logos, while the red midsole encapsulates a capsule-like structure.
