The NMD R2 is the upgraded version of the NMD R1 and released originally during the month of December. The slight upgrade with this new model is the replacement of the dual EVA plugs by one single large insert on the medial side. The next iteration of the shoes, the Adidas NMD R2 White Red BA7253 will debut on April 6.
The shoes come in a white & red color combination and feature a three layer primeknit upper with a distinctive woven print. Adidas branding comes in three tonal stripes on the panels, the leaf logo on the outside of the tongue; additional logos are featured on the red pull tab on the heel counter.Unlike the first version of the NMD R2 that featured a sock like construction, the white & red NMD R2 features a dual density heel collar for a comfortable fit. Completing the shoes is a full length white boost midsole with a contrasting red outsole.
