The Air Jordan 9 LA All Star 302370 021 Is Too Dull For The 2018 ASG

Sharing is caring!

My initial reaction to the Air Jordan 9 LA All Star wasn’t very a positive one, and it still isn’t especially when I found out that JB intended the shoes for the 2018 All Star Game. The even will take place in Los Angeles and this white and black Jordan 9 does not do LA in any justice. The shoes are way too conservative and dull; we are talking about LA; when I hear LA I’m thinking automatically about the Lakers, showtime, flashy and flamboyant colors, boldness and there is little in these Jordan 9’s that reflect that attitude.

Correct me If I’m wrong but does the picture you see above resonate with the All Star Game let alone the city of LA. From what I’ve gathered, they are intended for the All Star Festivities but I might be wrong. Maybe JB is just planning to drop them during the month of February which coincides with the ASG. Until Jordan Brand confirms that these Jordna 9’s are indeed the All Stat Edition, take every thing I said with a grain of salt.

White and black color combination ; tumble leather across the mudguard and heel panel and the uppers basically feature nubuck leather
The shoes remind me a lot of the Air Jordan 9 quai 54
The insoles appear to show parts of the city of LA

The Jordan 9’s are one of my favorite shoes for the game of basketball; here is my earlier review of the playoff 9’s
